Sweden donates USD 7 million for Social Protection

The UN Social Protection Joint Programme, which supports Government-led programming for the gradual scaling-up of sustainable social protection initiatives and involves civil society in the design and implementation of social protection programmes, has received a major bust with a Swedish donation of SEK 45,000,000 (approximately USD 7 million) over two years.
